TERMS OF THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE ARTIST SELECTED
IN THE CALL FOR ARTIST “WHAT ABOUT TOMORROW?” AND ART VEINE
1. ART VEINE is a platform for the dissemination and promotion of artistic repertoires through the presentation of visual arts portfolios and online exhibitions, not directly involved in the sale of works of art.
2. ART VEINE held an international call for artists entitled "WHAT ABOUT TOMORROW, between April 20 to May 25, 2020.
3. The VISUAL ARTIST who participated in the call for artists being among the top ten placed, was awarded a portfolio on the ART VEINE online platform for a period of 18 months *, from insertion of it, totally free.
* This period may be extended through a mutual agreement between the VISUAL ARTIST winner of the portfolio and ART VEINE.
4. The VISUAL ARTIST who participated in this call for artists, being among the top thirty, was awarded the participation in the online collective exhibition, entitled “What About Tomorrow?”, Which will take place on the ART VEINE platform.
5. In the portfolio dedicated to the VISUAL ARTIST selected from the top ten placed, the address of her/his social networks (instagram, facebook and website - if any) can be mentioned, , in this way, those who are interested in their works can be contacted directly.
6. The VISUAL ARTIST selected from the first ten placed may enter a maximum of 32 works in the ART VEINE portfolio free of charge. This number, however, if necessary, may be changed through mutual agreement between ARTIST VISUAL and ART VEINE.
7. Regarding the collective exhibition to be held on the ART VEINE platform with the participation of the first thirty placed in the call for artists “What About Tomorrow?”, The works shown will be those that were sent and evaluated by the curatorial commission in this call.
8. The information sent for the “What About Tomorrow?” by the VISUAL ARTIST selected from the first thirty placed, at this moment, are sufficient for the online exhibition. However, ART VEINE's production will contact you for additional information to enrich the exhibition.

10. The collective exhibition "What About Tomorrow?" will be applied by ART VEINE in intenacionais calls for a period of 12 months from its open on the platform, in order to get resources to physically present it.
11. For apply in international calls, mentioned in item 10, Art Veine will contact selected artists who will participate in the exhibition, specifically gor tis purpose, with aim to request additional documents to strengthen the project.
12. ART VEINE will not be held responsible if, for any reason, there is any technical problem in the platform structure and / or in the internet network, causing the platform to be down. However, in the event that something like this occurs, ART VEINE will take all measures to ensure that services are normalized as quickly as possible.
13. The VISUAL ARTIST winner of the "What About Tomorrow?" call must provide ART VEINE with true, accurate, current and complete information about herself / himself and her / his works.
14. The VISUAL ARTIST, selected by the "What About Tomorrow?" call, will not receive any money as prize. The prizes are a portfolio and / or your participation in a collective exhibition with the participation of all winners.
15. The VISUAL ARTIST awarded declares to be the copyright holder of the works that will compose her/his portfolio and the online exhibition at Art Veine.
16. The VISUAL ARTIST selected in the "What About Tomorrow?" declares that it is responsible for all copyrights pertinent to the material sent to the ART VEINE platform, including works, photos, videos and texts. It is also responsible for the related copyright. Thus exempting ART VEINE from any legal responsibility.
17. The ARTIST VISUAL grants to ART VEINE the image usage rights of the works sent to compose the portfolio and the online exhibition, for the dissemination of the artist himself, the works and the platform, in any means of communication. The choice of works for promotion will be made by the ART VEINE curatorial commission without the prior authorization of the artist.
18. The data provided by the artists participating in “What About Tomorrow?” call, were collected only to evaluate the proposals presented, as well as for exchanging information at the end of the selection period, such as sending emails to the winners, informing them of their call placements and the necessary procedures for the implementation of the awards ( portfolios and online collective exhibition). These data will also be used, after the insertion of the portfolios and online exhibition, so that ART VEINE can get in touch with the participants in order to streamline the information flows necessary for the proper functioning of all details involving the exhibition of the works.
19. ART VEINE is always committed to keeping data provided by users of the ART VEINE platform safe and secure.
20. ART VEINE protects the data entrusted to it and is transparent about its use. When using any data, it does so only after express authorization from the data holders.
