MARIANA DO VALE (b.1985, BRASIL/BRAZIL)

Artista visual e se dedica à produção artística investigando temas como intimidade, pele, corpo e espaço, tendo a fotografia, o vídeo e a performance como principais suportes. É mestra em Artes Visuais pela Escola de Belas Artes da UFRJ e atualmente é aluna do Doutoramento em Arte Contemporânea da Universidade de Coimbra. Em 2013 Participou do programa Summer Residency da SVA em Nova York e realizou o Master Internacional em Fotografia da Escola EFTI, em Madri em 2009. ​ Em 2019, participou das coletivas "Motel Coimbra" e "Ateliê Aberto em Coimbra", Portugal. Em 2018, participou do evento Flexões Performáticas, no CCBB/SP, São Paulo, BR e realizou a exposição individual "Pactos de Intimidade", no Rio de Janeiro, BR. Em 2017, realizou a exposição individual "Duna: a busca de um si a que pertencer" no SESC/RN. Ela participou ainda das coletivas "Disculpe las Moléstias" [Cidade do México, México, 2015]; "Elas" [Natal, Brasil, 2014]; "Open Studios and Exhibition" [Nova York, EUA, 2013]; "El baño, la fotografía contemporánea entre lo publico y lo privado" [San José, Costa Rica, 2012] e do Photo España [Madri, Espanha, 2009].
Mantém em Natal o Duas Estúdio: escola de artes, produtora cultural e galeria de arte. 



Visual artist and is dedicated to artistic production investigating themes such as intimacy, skin, body and space, with photography, video and performance as the main supports.
She has a master's degree in Visual Arts from the School of Fine Arts at UFRJ and is currently a PhD student in Contemporary Art at the University of Coimbra. She participated in SVA's Summer Residency program in New York in 2013 and held the International Master in Photography at the EFTI School in Madrid in 2009.
In 2019 she participated in the groupings "Motel Coimbra" and "Ateliê Aberto em Coimbra", Portugal. In 2018 she participated in the event Flexões Performáticas, at CCBB / SP, São Paulo, BR and held the individual exhibition "Intimacy Pacts", in Rio de Janeiro, BR. In 2017, she held the solo exhibition "Duna: the search for a self to belong to" at SESC / RN. She also participated in the group shows "Disculpe las Moléstias" [Mexico City, Mexico, 2015]; "Elas" [Natal, Brasil, 2014]; "Open Studios and Exhibition" [New York, USA, 2013];  "El baño, la fotografía contemporánea entre lo publico y lo privado" [San José, Costa Rica, 2012] and Photo España [Madrid, Spain, 2009].
She keeps Duas Estúdio in Natal: art school, cultural producer and art gallery.
